Lewis Hamilton

On the 16th of December, Eye Mag AV was at the Mobil 1 headquarters in Fairfax, Virginia for the arrival of Lewis Hamilton, to celebrate his accomplishment of being the youngest ever FIA Formula One World Drivers’ Champion.

Hamilton, if you didn’t already know, is a British Formula One racing driver from England, who is currently racing for the McLaren Mercedes team. Before his arrival, we got the stage all set up, which was complete with a scale model of his F1 car. After Hamilton arrived, we documented the occasion with pictures and video as he shook hands with top Mobil 1 representatives, whose company is one of the major sponsors of his McLaren Mercedes team.

A good time was had by all and we feel privileged to have been able to meet such an amazing young driver.

Tunnel to Towers

The weekend of September 27th, Eye Mag AV had the pleasure of teaming up with 3 Roads Communications to cover the Tunnel to Towers run in New York City.

Eye Mag’s set-up consisted of a three-camera switch, which was being projected onto two screens for the fireman’s dinner. The dinner was a fundraiser for the families of the fallen firefighters from the tragic event on September 11, 2001. An extremely entertaining artist named Michael Israel also took part in the fundraiser. The Saturday night event was a big hit and everything ran smoothly.

Sunday was the Stephen Siller 5K race. Eye Mag AV did another three-camera switch, which also fed the large LCD screen for the crowd to view. Even though it was raining, almost 20,000 people showed up for the race, which was hosted by actor, John Turturro. Former New York City Mayor Rudy Juliani also made an inspirational appearance.

In the end, everything was a huge success and Eye Mag AV was proud to be a part of this heart-felt event. 9/11 is a day that should never be forgotten and will always be remembered by us at Eye Mag AV.
